Little Women:LA is bringing the huge drama, lately. Both Christy and Traci are getting married and even tho they’ve been friends for 13-16 years (there are differing versions of this), they cannot stand each other. (Naturally.) Even Traci’s June Cleaver-esque mother stood on the balcony of the country club wedding venue and was like, “Don’t invite Christy. She’s unpredictable.”
Traci is getting married at the country club because, as her sweet father announced, it’s their favorite place to eat after church. Traci is conservative and constantly disappointed. She wants her wedding to be “grand.” Traci has chosen Terra as a maid-of-honor which is turning out to be a wise choice. While pushy and tolerant of the horrible Joe, Terra gets shit done. Terra showed up at the country club with a notebook and ideas about getting Traci up on a platform so her head is above the barred fence. “Otherwise all her wedding pictures will look like she’s in jail.”
+1 for Terra!
Christy chose Briana as her maid-of-honor which appalls Traci, mainly because Briana used to date the groom. Eh, I don’t think that’s a huge deal. I went to a wedding last year where an ex-boyfriend was one of the groomsmen. I sat through the ceremony with his new girlfriend, and it was totally fine. I mean, she’s a super-dummy so I basically just felt superior. +1 for Beth!
In other little lady drama, Terra’s horrific boyfriend Joe revealed that Tonya’s new fellow Trevor was checking out other ladies at the butt-based video shoot. Tonya was pissed, but not as pissed as Terra. So she orchestrated a double date and confronted Trevor who was like, it was a video about butts and I commented on everyone’s butt. I was there for Tonya, and this is really between us anyway. At this point, Joe chimes in and says Trevor’s remarks really weren’t all that bad. Then Tonya tells Terra to get over it. And Terra has a complete meltdown over their table full of rainbow colored martinis. I am in support of Trevor because he’s funny, direct, and seems supportive of Tonya. Although it does raise an interesting question: Is it okay if your partner points out someone else’s attractiveness? At first, I was offended on Tonya’s behalf. I want things to work out with her and Trevor, and his ogling other women at her video shoot is bad news. Trevor, however, justified his remarks to my satisfaction.
What about you and your relationship? Is your other half okay with you saying, “Oh, look at that Matt Damon?” or, “Check out that homeless lady. I’d hit it.” I once said this about Dr. Phil in front of my boyfriend and he got all upset, like I’m ever going to leave him for Dr. Phil. (I totally would.)
