They are called “Cinnamon Apple Crunch Sticks” and they are wonderful. My boyfriend threw them in the cart as we were shopping and I sighed, exasperated. All we have at home are pita chips and veggie chips and organic flax seed bullshit chips. I do not need to buy some random bag of cinnamon apple sticks that we’re never going to eat.
For a week, the sticks remained untouched until now. Now! Glorious now!
Reminiscent of the flavor of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios and the texture of Bugles, these light, cinnaminny snacks are perfect television food. As you know, we here at Slow News day love both television and food, ideally when paired together.
A $2.59 bag of Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Apple Snack Sticks contains six servings (that means like, two servings) and each serving has 140 calories, if you’re one of those people. Apparently, they contain real apples. There is also something about whole grains. It is a Trader Joe’s product, after all, where all things are justifiably healthy.
Have you tried these? What do you think? Which snacks are better?
