The Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, which is a place in Russia and not a dairy-free dessert, have just begun, and the Opening Ceremony has yet to air in America. It has, however, aired in real life, and video is already up online. You’d think no one would care about the Sochi Opening Ceremony because there’s no way Beyonce would be caught dead in Sochi. Well you thought wrong!
The Russian Police Choir (!!!) performed Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” for reasons only they would know, and their performance was both amazing and thus ironically, really LGBT-friendly. You can watch it here on NBC Olympics.
If that didn’t make you giddy enough, you’ve got to check out Gawker.com comments section on the performance, which somehow redeem the past decade of internet trolldom.
Stop procrastinating and just watch this video now because most nerds are already talking about it, which means everyone else will be talking about it all weekend. You don’t want to be the guy that’s like, “Wait. What singing cops?” Ugh, we hate that guy.
Please let us know in the comments which singing cop you love the most. Is it the one who looks like ‘Bates’ from “Downton Abbey”? I KNOW ME TOO.
