First thing’s first: set your DVR to record “Unsolved Mysteries” on Lifetime. Dennis Farina-era reruns are on 3 times a day, and it’s nice to have a handful of UM waiting there in your queue. In this day and age, watching Unsolved Mysteries requires one to constantly google certain featured mysteries from the late 80s to see if they’ve been solved. This googling leads one onto a variety of information superhighways, all of which are gripping in their own way.
The above has led me to a Reddit Board called, “Unresolved Mysteries” and it is fantastic. Our soul mates are out there, and they are discussing mysteries on Reddit in usually thoughtful and intelligent ways. Horray!
A great thing about this board is the abundance of GOOD LINKS throughout most mystery discussions. A bad thing about this board is that I can get lost on it for hours, and there is a seemingly endless amount of information I want to read. Each click forward makes me feel like I’m missing out on 7 other mysteries I totally want to click on. It is an embarrassment of mysterious riches.
